Einschnitt is a series of single-channel videos in which a homogeneous surface is divided performatively. Filmed from a great height, one recognizes a person pulling a human load. Physically heavy and slow. Both persons leave a visible trace in the landscape. They divide the previously homogeneous surface into two unequal parts. Above and below. Left and right. North and South. A border?

Einschnitt ist eine Serie von einkanaligen Videos in denen eine homogen wirkende Fläche performativ geteilt wird. Aus großer Höhe gefilmt erkennt man eine Person die eine weitere Person liegend hinter sich herzieht. Schwer und langsam. Beide Personen hinterlassen eine sichtbare Spur in der Landschaft. Dabei teilen sie die vormals homogene Fläche in zwei ungleiche Teile. Oben und Unten. Links und Rechts. Nord und Süd. Eine Grenze?
