Jeewi Lee presents an ephemeral installation inspired by Land Art, in which water, mudflats and clouds play the main role, as part of the exhibition "By the Sea" (Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven), in the former 2nd harbor entrance. With a minimalist and temporary intervention in nature, the artist creates a circular form that exists for only one tidal cycle: Installed in the tidal flats in the early morning hours at low tide, it submerges at high tide (high tide 11:13) to become visible again as the water recedes (low tide 17:30). The effect of the work - as a hole, mirror or window to the sky - is largely determined by wind, weather and sunlight.

Jeewi Lee präsentiert in der ehem. 2. Hafeneinfahrt eine ephemere, von Land Art inspirierte Installation, in der Wasser, Watt und Wolken die Hauptrolle spielen. Mit einem minimalistischen und temporären Eingriff in die Natur schafft die Künstlerin eine kreisrunde Form, die nur einen Tidenzyklus lang besteht: Im Watt in den frühen Morgenstunden bei Ebbe installiert, taucht sie bei Flut unter (Hochwasser 11:13), um mit ablaufendem Wasser wieder sichtbar zu werden (Niedrigwasser 17:30). Die Wirkung der Arbeit - als Loch, Spiegel oder Fenster zum Himmel - wird wesentlich von Wind, Wetter und Sonnenlicht bestimmt.
