Einschnitt is a series of single-channel videos in which a homogeneous surface is divided performatively. Filmed from a great height, one recognizes a person pulling a human load. Physically heavy and slow. Both persons leave a visible trace in the landscape. They divide the previously homogeneous surface into two unequal parts. Above and below. Left and right. North and South. A border?
